Coaching FAQ:
Identity Coaching, Executive Coaching, and Private Coaching with Orlando Nord
-
Identity shifting is the deliberate upgrade of the assumptions you hold about who you are and what is available to you. Instead of optimizing habits inside your current self concept, we evolve the self concept itself.
Traditional life coaching often improves goals, routines, and accountability. That can help. But it usually works within your existing identity.
-
Yes. Many patterns that feel permanent are actually learned responses that have been repeated over time. Whether it is people pleasing, self doubt, perfectionism, procrastination, or overworking, these behaviors are often connected to an underlying identity and belief system.
-
Identity shifts can begin immediately. Many clients experience new insights, greater clarity, and different decision making within the first few sessions.
-
Future self coaching is the process of intentionally becoming the person capable of creating the life, relationships, career, and impact you want.
Instead of focusing only on goals, we identify the qualities, beliefs, habits, and standards of your future self and begin practicing them in the present. The objective is to reduce the gap between who you are today and who you are becoming.
-
Leadership is not just about skills. It is also about self perception.
The way you see yourself influences how you communicate, make decisions, handle pressure, set boundaries, and lead others. Many leadership challenges are actually identity challenges.
For example, someone who still identifies as an individual contributor may struggle to delegate. Someone who ties their worth to achievement may have difficulty leading with confidence during uncertainty.
This is not content consumption. It is relational, personalized work where your patterns are challenged and redesigned in real time.
Section 1: Identity Coaching.
Section 2: Confidence & Performance.
-
A confidence coach helps you build self-trust, make clearer decisions, and follow through more consistently.
The goal is not to feel confident all the time. The goal is to trust yourself even when uncertainty is present.
-
Lasting confidence comes from evidence, not hype. It grows when you keep promises to yourself, take aligned action, and build a track record of follow-through.
-
Yes. Imposter syndrome usually shows up when your self-view has not caught up with your responsibilities. Coaching helps you trust your capabilities and stop over-relying on external validation.
-
Yes. Burnout is often tied to perfectionism, over-responsibility, people pleasing, and treating productivity like self-worth. Coaching helps you change the patterns, not just manage the symptoms.
Section 3: Career & Leadership.
-
Career transitions challenge more than skills. They challenge identity, confidence, and direction. Coaching helps you get clear on what comes next and make better decisions through the shift.
Whether you are changing industries, pursuing a promotion, starting a business, returning to work, or navigating a major life transition, coaching helps you gain clarity, make confident decisions, and create a plan aligned with your goals and values.
-
Personal branding coaching helps you communicate your value more clearly and make your expertise easier to recognize.
It helps align how you show up online and offline with the opportunities you want.
-
Leadership is partly strategy, but it is also confidence, judgment, communication, and emotional regulation. Coaching helps you strengthen the internal habits that make leadership feel steadier and more effective.
-
Coaching can improve the inputs that shape performance and career growth, like clarity, decision making, priorities, and follow-through. Those changes can lead to better opportunities over time.
Section 4: Working With Orlando.
-
People who look successful on paper but feel stuck or misaligned, usually in a career transition, leaving corporate, stepping into more responsibility, or trying to rebuild direction with more clarity and consistency or clarity and execution.
-
Each session is focused on helping you create meaningful progress between where you are and where you want to be.
We identify the pattern, clarify the next step, and leave with something practical to do.
-
Most clients work with me for at least three months. One session per week.
-
I work closely with my clients, which means fit matters.
The application process helps ensure that coaching is aligned with your goals, expectations, and level of commitment. It also allows me to provide honest guidance about whether my programs are the right solution for your situation.
-
You are probably a fit if you want direct feedback, are willing to do the work between sessions, and want more than motivation or generic advice. If you want something practical and structured, that is a good sign.
-
People who want quick fixes, constant reassurance, or someone else to make decisions for them. Also anyone looking for therapy, or a vague pep talk.
-
The first call after you apply is a consultation to see whether the work is a fit and what you want to change.
-
Investment is based on the level of support you need, the duration that makes sense, and whether 3, 6, or 12 months is the best fit after the qualifying conversation. I only share the exact option once it is clear the work is a fit.
-
In 30 days, people usually have clearer priorities and a better read on what is actually getting in the way. By 90 days, the goal is steadier decision-making, more consistent execution, and a more practical way of working through pressure and change.
